'The Hypnobirth School has been a great way to prepare for the birth of my first child. Cheryl has been amazing teaching the course and as a support during pregnancy. She is approachable, engaging and whatever I am worried about I always feel at ease with Cheryl.' - Laura
My name is Cheryl and I am a practicing NHS midwife, an antenatal and hypnobirthing course teacher for Bump and Baby Club across London and most importantly a mother of four children (including twins!).
I love teaching women and birth partners how to enjoy a calm and positive birth experience, however they birth their baby‘s. I myself had three very different gentle and calm births including a drug free hospital birth, an induction of labour with twins and a peaceful home birth.
My courses are practical and unbiased. I like to inform families with evidence based antenatal education, my best midwifery tips, active birth positions, all of the relaxation techniques you will need for a calm birth and trust that you will decide what is best for you.
I have supported hundreds of families through their journey from pregnancy, birth and parenthood as a community midwife at home births, on the labour ward and also as a private antenatal education teacher.
What does the evidence say about hypnobirthing?
The KGHypnobirthing course aims to teach you how to feel confident, positive and excited about your birth. You will learn to navigate the healthcare system, make informed decisions and enjoy relaxing hypnobirthing techniques to help you have the best birth possible on the day, however you birth your baby.

'I cannot recommend highly enough the hypnobirth school . As a father-to-be the course, and Cheryl, have been invaluable for me. My wife and I are having our first child and we really didn’t know what to expect. If like me, you think that the birthing process means rushing to hospital and having doctors and midwives delivering your child then this course will help you. Now, I am looking forward to playing a huge role in supporting my wife to have a calm birth.' - Paul
